Our annual meeting for the Legacy Plaza project will be held on Thursday, March 8th. Guest speakers from TxDOT will be in attendance to discuss plans for the Goldthwaite Welcome Center which will be located on the northwest corner of the plaza. The event is scheduled for 6PM in the Community Room of the Mills County State Bank.
The Goldthwaite Welcome Center will make available local business and travel information to visitors as well as serving as a transportation museum. The center will also provide an open terrace and outdoor seating.
The master plan for the Welcome Center was developed by Jackson and McElhaney Architects and conforms to the same values of sustainability and environmental stewardship as the rest of Legacy Plaza.
