We’ve had some great school and family group visits recently. Life – and learning – is better outside! Contact us today to schedule a group visit or presentation.
On October 28th, we had about 40 night sky enthusiasts join us for International Observe the Moon Night in the J. Waddy Bullion Gardens. For some of the kiddos, it was their first time looking through a telescope. Others were more knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing what they knew about the different phases of the moon. Thanks to Jennie Trent Dew Library for helping host the event and to the awesome photographers at The Goldthwaite Eagle for capturing the beautiful moments.
Last week, we hosted a class of pre-schoolers on a field trip from Hamilton, Texas. We learned how to survive in nature – just like the first people. We played in the wikiup, looked for fish in the creek, and hunted for pecans.
