First Blooms

The garden’s winter dormancy has shifted into the beginnings of a bustling spring. This new breath of life is evident in every new blade of grass, under every rock, and in the playful sound of birds singing. Pictured below are garden residents that flowered over the weekend: Texas redbud (top left), four nerve daisy (top right), Mexican plum (bottom left), and mountain laurel (bottom right). It is an exciting time change, so make sure to stop by the gardens this week.
