A Visit From Taking Care of Texas

Taking Care of Texas came to town on Tuesday, April 29th. Whitney Marian Klenzendorf (Program Manager), Erin O’Neil Franz (Executive Director), and Tamara Trail (Director) visited our project.

Founded by former First Lady Laura Bush and a board of actively engaged scientific experts, private landowners, conservationists, and businesspeople, Taking Care of Texas promotes the mutual benefits of economics and conservation. They build relationships between people who use natural resources and the people who have the know-how to plan and implement realistic conservation practices.

Other guests included: Dr. Larry Butler (Host Out On The Land), Drew Patterson (Exhibit Designer), Jennifer Patterson (Drew Patterson Studios) and Rachelle Diaz (Art Diva Creative).
