Several board members and supporters attended the Texas Forts Trail 2014 Annual Tourism & Preservation RoundUp in Brownwood, Texas on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Jan Fischer, Executive Director, delivered a presentation about “What’s New in and about the Region”.

Chet Garner, The Daytripper, was the luncheon guest speaker. He followed with a workshop discussing what makes every Texas town unique inspiring all present to reach out to all travelers visiting local communities.

The RoundUp is a once-a-year opportunity to gather with like-minded folks from across our 29-county region who are interested in heritage and cultural tourism, community development and/or preservation – people who are interested in attracting visitors to our communities and our special events, cook-offs, rodeos, etc. and sharing the real Texas experience!
